About Visiting Wales
Beaches
When visitors think of Wales many do not realise that as well
as the valleys there is are areas of Beach that rival many other in the UK
Llanddwyn Island has a long sandy beach with by spectacular views
and connects the Island to Anglesey.
Llangrannog has two small sandy beaches set in coves and as well as
swimming you can spend some time dolphin watching.
Tenby One of the well known seaside resorts in Wales with
a 1 mile long sandy beach up in the south , and small winding
streets filled with shops and cafe's , the town has a medieval wall
surrounding it with a castle and old church which are both worth the time
to visit
Gower Peninsula This includes Swansea and is designated
as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty by the National Trust and has many camp sites
to make this an ideal area for an outdoor based holiday
Newgale is on the Pembrokeshire coast with 2 miles of clean sandy beaches
, the tide goes out some 600 Mtrs and you can walk across the sand to reach the water
Surfing
The 2 best Surfing area's in Wales are on the Gower Peninsula and Newgale on the Atlantic coast
with cheap camping close to some of the beaches

Wales is a vast area ranging from
Snowdonia with it's mountain ranges suitable for Rock climbing
Sgwd yr Eira With it's falls of snow waterfall which you can walk behind
without getting wet , this is an ideal area for hiking with deep gorges , there are also cave systems
Wales provides exceptional area's for the serious hiker as well as the casual walker
ranging from the rolling welsh valley's to mountain areas in Snowdonia , there are area's
that allow you to get close to nature and wildlife

the Industrial Revolution through the coal mines and ironworks , and many examples
have been preserved to provide insight
