Northern Ireland is a country on the north-east of the island of Ireland that is part of the UK , it shares it's border with Ireland which is fully independent from the UK. After many years of continued violence in Northern Ireland a peace deal was agreed between all parties including the Social Democratic and Labour Party SDLP, the Provisional Irish Republican Army (PIRA) in 1994. Over the next few years after a number of false starts and continued trouble ended when the United States Senator George Mitchell formulated a series of six ground rules which agreed by the Irish and British governments and all the political parties in Northern Ireland and laid the formation of the long term agreement on Good Friday, 10 April 1998, to ensure long term peace the peace plan was put to a referendum in Northern Ireland and a separate referendum was held in Southern Ireland which changes to the constitution of the country of Ireland which both recieved a strong yes vote for the changes and the peaceful end to the troubles. Since the implementation of the Northern Ireland Assembly which was part of the agreement although there have been troubles even in 2009 the political climate has allowed Northern Ireland to become a much calmer country.

Because of the long term peace many companies have established themselves in Northern Ireland due to the keen workforce who want to put the troubles behind them and create a vibrant economy.
